This video put out by British royals on mental health. As I’m sure you know, mental health is not a sexy topic to talk about. But if there is anyone that can make it close to sexy, it’s Prince William, Duchess Kate, and Prince Harry. It’s admirable that they modeled for us how to have family conversations about feelings and mental health.
This TV show. Dan and I blew through Grace and Frankie (so good!) and we were on the hunt for another dramedy. Luckily for us, I happened to remember that I started Catastrophe (an Amazon original) last year, during a short and ill-fated attempt to become “more active” on the treadmill. This show is about what happens when a couple (the woman, Irish, and the man, American) meets in London, sleeps together for a week, and conceives a baby. Catastrophe is a delicious combination of hilarious and awkward.
This article about the radium girls. It’s always valuable to learn more about the forgotten roles that women have played in our history, and this wartime story is particularly fascinating. Stories like these make me even more grateful for OSHA—and for the women who fought back to save the lives of others.
These yoga tanks. One of my best friends, Mary Catherine Starr, makes these incredible yoga tanks. I have “May all beings everywhere be happy and free,” and it’s amazing. So cute and so soft. She just released a new one: "Because Yoga." Check them out!
This article about kickass librarians. I loved reading about how librarians took Eastern Kentucky residents library books via horseback, and the pictures are pretty incredible, too.
